Possible Hidden Agenda: A Web of Shady Associations
In one of my earlier posts I discussed a history channel "exclusive story" pertaining the disclosure of Groom Lake, most commonly known as Area 51. When I created that post, what I wasn't aware of is the network of organizations responsible for this recent disclosure project, channels including abc, NBC, comedy central and of course the history channel. The history channel is jointly owned by a&e, Disney, and NBC universal. Comedy central, which released interviews of individuals who wrote books on the groom lake disclosure on the daily show, and possibly others (my methods of research haven't shown this, but is likely subject to change over time) is a joint operation owned by Time Warner and Viacom. Initially, this seems like an arbitrary association, until one discovers that Time Warner also owns NBC. And abc, a channel that frequently showcases family movies (which I'm sure almost every American is familiar with) is owned by Disney. Already hints of collusion begin to surface at this point, suggesting not only do these companies share financial interests, but apparently interests of information dissemination and public awareness. Disney has its own checkered past, what with politically incorrect caricatures and stereotypes in a plethora of their earlier movies. It attempted to correct with its first black princess, a southern chef who falls into conflict with a voodoo-themed villain named the "shadow man". I guess they couldn't think of any non-stereotypical archetypes of black culture in the south, but I digress...there appears to be more going on that an objective account of historical events, as the alleged disclosure event seems to have left out large chunks of information, such as exotic aircraft and weaponry programs that were proven to occur in footage (albeit not footage taken from Area 51) but were outright denied by the Area 51 disclosers. An example of this is the reverse-engineering project that surrounded retrieved German aircraft that fit the description of the "flying saucer" which were photographed being removed from German hangars, as well as saucer shaped crafts filmed during test flights. Interesting to note about the test flights is that the original story was that they never happened. The revised story, after footage was publicized was that it was footage of discontinued research. This story clearly needs an element of objectivity not in the pockets of the purveyors of the western propaganda machine. And unfortunately, it will take either decades of speculation or a single brave soul willing to release credible information at the risk of their health before the truth is revealed. It's just unfortunate that mortal risk rides in tandem with complete truth in a country founded on truth, liberty and justice. What a world, eh folks?

Forward Motion: The Women in Black
This is the first installment of the Forward Motion series, which makes special recognition of people and organizations that engage in social reformation through non-violent means. This installment is dedicated to the little-known and seldom publicized female activist group Women in Black.
The Women in Black movement is an international movement, founded Israel in 1988. Interesting to note is that, unlike many protest movements that distinguish themselves as entities with some corporate intent the Women in Black movement avidly asserts that it is in no way an organization, but a collective of women who share a similar social vision.
The movement protests against war, rape as a tool of war, ethnic cleansing and global human rights abuses. They meet and stage a silent vigil (which I have been privileged to have witnessed for myself) for a period of time at regular intervals in public locations. I didn't have the opportunity to interview these women for the blog but their cause so moved me that I had to make them the first int he Forward Motion series.
If there are any individuals out there interested in following their cause, check out their main website at : www.womeninblack.org. They accept contributions, but prefer active participation in the movement (women especially). If for some reason you're unable to at least contribute, spread the message please. If no motion is made, no progress is gained...

Libya War - A Libyan Girl's Message To Obama And S Video
Libya War - A Libyan Girl's Message To Obama And S Video
I came across this video whilst searching for a suitable subject for a new post. I thought it was an interesting testimony that reflected a heavily under-represented perspective of the civilians pertaining to the current civil crisis in Libya, North Africa which is currently being funded and supplied by NATO and spearheaded by the Executive branch of the United States government.

Very Suspicious: The Official Disclosure of Several Top-Secret Area 51 Research Programs
The United States Military has decided to release a certain amount of classified documents that describe several covert operations that are alleged to have occurred within the perimeters of the military installment known popularly by the name Area 51, although apparently it goes by such names as "Dreamland", "Paradise Ranch" and "Homey Airport". Area 51, as I'll consistently refer to it for the sake of clarification, is located within the Nevada Test and Training Range under the jurisdiction of the United States Air Force.
All of this information, interestingly enough, was vehemently denied by the U.S. Government until July 14, 2003; the military even refused to admit the very existence of Area 51 and even went as far as to edit out all traces of the site from topographical satellite images.
Why the secrecy? According to information recently divulged to the public, the base was the site of extensive nuclear testing, as well as the location of the development of still-classified weapons and aircraft. In the international race for global supremacy via militaristic superiority, every ingenuity in the field of munitions is protected with absolute solemnity in order to prevent such technology being reverse-engineered and directed towards the hapless masses. For that reason, secrecy is well-justified. But certain bits of information get kind of strange....
According to a History Channel documentary, which was produced using released documents as well as interviews from former military engineers who worked on the Area 51 site, research at the site resulted in the development of special stealth alloys that were eventually incorporated into vehicles such as SR-71 Blackbird and B2 Spirit stealth bomber. Now, here's where it gets strange...according to this documentary, the infamous Roswell, NM crash site wasn't an extraterrestrial craft but one developed at Area 51 and had been abandoned mid-flight due to structural failures. The material that multiple witnesses had described as having "self-repairing" and "indestructible" attributes reportedly came from the U.S. military. Interesting that none of that material is incorporated into body armor or vehicles currently deployed to overseas conflict.
Due the the absolute lack of any evidence that the U.S. government possessed "self-repairing" materials, as described by multiple on-site witnesses who retrieved pieces of material from the craft, in the FORTIES forces me to call shenanigans...
In addition to this, the documentary asserts that the reports of child-like humanoids on the site can be attributed to crash dummies. Really now....experienced members of law enforcement who have probably dealt with human remains before mistook a standard-issue dummy for something entirely foreign to anything they've ever encountered...
Something is suspicious here, and it may take several decades before more pieces to this puzzle are revealed to the public.

Personal Reflections: President Barack H. Obama
I keep up with the mainstream media, usually because the level of hypocrisy and ignorance is absolutely hilarious. And I've realized a trend amongst news organizations pertaining to our President that hadn't existed prior to his election. There's a massive level of condescension from Caucasians towards him. In terms of my very brief reference of experience in terms of Presidents (I've only been actively following the last two, as I haven't always cared about world events) I've never seen a President have to defend his every decision and action, and even have to defend positions that are completely outside of rational sanity.
First off, the birth certificate fiasco. Do people HONESTLY think that organizations that specialize in collecting information would actively overlook one of the basic requirements of Presidency? Do people think that the CIA, FBI, Homeland Security, AND the miscellaneous intelligence agencies throughout the WORLD, the same ones that LOCATED President Obama's extended relatives, would have missed that crucial piece of information for this long? And why is it so hard to believe that President Obama was born in the United States? Why haven't any other presidents been accused of false citizenships and doctored birth certificates? It just so happens that the FIRST black president is also the first president accused of not being born in the United States, in addition to being the first president who has had to produce evidence on several occasions verifying his birth in order to quell the outrageously unreasonable dissent from White America's ugliest recesses....
If it isn't a racism issue, all I'd like to see is evidence suggesting similar circumstances endured by a Caucasian president....
And let's not even BEGIN with the whole "Socialized medicine", "death panel" garbage. People were actually publicly accusing President Obama of conspiring to euthanize citizens nationwide. DESPITE the fact that the very same demographic that accused him of being a socialist also insisted that he instate federal programs to ensure universal health-care and benefits. Hypocrisy. I understand that a significant amount of Americans are gripped by perpetual and baseless fears; Americans would rather agree with concepts that are popular than actually objectively examine the ideas they espouse to before deciding what they think.Yes, that's old American way. But this isn't the OLD America. We live in a world where our ignorance will inevitably and irrevocably affect the world inherited by our grandchildren and their children.

Those Frivolous Americans...
Today, I decided that the United State's current debt situation required some personal research. So in order to gain a clearer overall perspective of the current situation I Google searched some articles from our country's largest debtor, China.
One article in particular, entitled "U.S. debt problem remains unsettled", expresses a great deal of dissatisfaction with the United State's management of the economy. In the opinion of Chinese economists, all the measures taken by the United States thus-far (the repeated increase of the debt ceiling, the bank bailouts, the overhaul of private organisations, cuts to public programs, etc.) have all been superficial remedies that do little to address the long-term financial downturn projected for the next decade or so.
After a little research I located a source that alleged the average debt per taxpaying citizen is close to 130 thousand dollars, with an overall national debt of over 14 trillion dollars and counting. Under Obama's national debt management plan, between the 900 billion dollars of cuts to government expenditure over the next decade in addition to miscellaneous cuts to publicly-funded sectors such as education and sanitation, there would still be a yawning chasm of debt. Plus, according to China the United States is 55 trillion dollars in debt outside of the "official" numbers purported by the Congressional Budget Office.
With an annual tax revenue of close to only 3 trillion dollars and an average annual income per middle class family close to 50 thousand dollars, it becomes readily apparent that the country is far from any sustained economic stability. But what do our representatives suggest is the outcome? INCREASED money loans from foreign economies. Although I'm supposed to be impartial, I've gotta say the government should have their credit card cut lol.
If the information presented thus-far wasn't depressing enough, the international credit rating company Standard & Poor's has declared recently that the credit score of the country had been lowered from "AAA" to "AA+" In what I must admit is a very perceptive analysis of the current situation, Standard & Poor's has expressed that they foresee further decline in the credit rating of the country, citing the ongoing bickering between political parties over their respective personal interests pertaining to what should be done about the debt as a major inhibitor to any actual improvements. Well put, Standard & Poor's. Well put.
According to Standard and Poor's current assessment of the economic downturn, there will be much more hardship for the public during the next few decades due to the massive government spending with little oversight and poor management.
I think that this issue warrants a lot more public interest, especially from ANYONE who has a child, as the repercussions of the decisions made by the empowered minority (another way I refer to the gov't) will be felt for several generations even if things took an incredible turn for the better.
